COFFEE CUP GREETINGS: Held on the 1st and 3rd Sundays of each month, August 5 & 19.
RUMMAGE SALE: St. Paul will hold a Rummage Sale on Saturday, August 4, from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm. Please donate any unwanted items (clothing, shoes, housewares, tools, books, toys, etc.) for this event. Items can be brought to the church during the last week of July during the hours of 11:30 am to 2:00 pm. This is a big fundraiser for our church and requires lots of help for setup, pricing, (Aug. 2), and selling items. Please use the sign-up sheets in the narthex to volunteer your services or call Brenda Ceplecci. Thank you for your donations and help! There will also be a Bake Sale on Aug. 4 in conjunction with the Rummage Sale. Your homemade goodies are needed! Please sign up in the narthex to indicate what you will donate. Thank you for helping make this fundraiser a success for our church! This is a Thrivent sponsored event.
150TH ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATION: The 150th Anniversary Celebration Dinner will be held following the worship service on September 9 at 1:00 pm at Avalon Inn – Grand Pavilion. Tickets for the event are now available and may be obtained from any member of the Anniversary Committee or in response to written invitation. You should have received your invitation by mail, or soon will. Kindly reply by August 19 with your response. Tickets for the dinner are: Adults – $15, Children ages 4 to 12 – $7.50, Children under 4 – Free. This is a very special moment in our history and it is hoped that all of our St. Paul family, both past and present, will feel welcome and be able to attend either the service, dinner, or both. Please plan on sharing of your time to help mark this wonderful occasion. Thank you!
PICNIC & BONFIRE: The Teens of St. Paul are hosting a Picnic & Bonfire on Saturday, September 15, from 3:00 to 11:00 pm at the Groves’ Farm in Brookfield, Ohio. Everyone (all ages) from St. Paul and Living Lord are welcome. Bring your own lawn chairs. Look for more details and a sign-up sheet in the coming weeks.

HALL RENTAL: Any member wishing to rent Cassel Hall must call the office to schedule the date to be sure it is not already rented or in use by the church, the Preschool, DAR, the Red Cross, or The Solace Center. There is also paper work which needs to be filled out prior to renting.
FLOWERS AND MEDITATION CANDLES: Weeks are available for purchase, dedicated to your special intentions. The meditation candle is $5.00 and flowers are $30.00 for two vases. Please use an Order Envelope and PREPAY your order at the time that you sign the flower and candle chart. PAYMENT ENVELOPES ARE BY THE FLOWER CHART. On weeks where there is no paid order, the church will display silk flowers to the Glory of God. Please sign up for your special weeks while they are available.
SPLASH TODAY: Donations are always warmly welcomed, and with your continued support, we will be able to sustain this valuable ministry to young families.
GRIEF MINISTRY: Part of the Social Committee is Grief Ministry. Joyce Osborn is spearheading this ministry with Pr. Perkins’ and God’s guidance and help. When a loved one dies, Joyce sends a set of four books called “Journeying through Grief” throughout the first year. Each book describes the issues and feelings that a person tends to encounter at various points of grief and the books offer suggestions on handling them. If Pastor Perkins or Joyce can be of any help or if you have any questions during a time of grief, please contact either of them.
