PEPPERONI SALE: Back by popular demand – TODAY we will have another sale of the delicious rolls from Ianazone’s Pizza Shop in McDonald. Everyone seemed to enjoy them and we sold out in record time. The church profited by $500.00. This was, of course, a Thrivent sponsored event, for which we are grateful. We are going to try a new roll this time, along with the Pepperoni Rolls. They will be Meatball Rolls – filled with meatballs, sauce, and cheese. We hope that they are as good as the Sausage Rolls were. So, plan on picking up lunch on Sunday, March 21, as you leave church. The profits will help the Current Expense Fund of St. Paul. Thank you for your support! Diana Bauman
GRAND-FAMILIES: Grand-families meets on the 2nd and 4th Saturdays of each month in the Parlor. We will meet Saturday, March 27, at 10:30 am.

Many projects and activities in 2020 were supported with funding from Thrivent Financial. FOOD OUTREACH: Grace Shiau has been cooking again, supplying delicious, warm meals for distribution on February 19. We also delivered boxes of shelf-stable foods. We are thankful for the response from you. Our hope is to maintain the servant project, once a month, through the year, recognizing an essential need in the community and to keep communication with some of our members, too. The following suggested items are always appreciated; cereal, soup, chili, crackers, macaroni and cheese, easy-prep noodle or rice side dishes, canned meats (tuna salmon, turkey, chicken), canned vegetables, boxed potatoes, gravy, peanut butter and jelly, and cookies. Monetary donations can be made to the church with FOOD OUTREACH on the memo line. ART SHOW BASKETS: Our preschool is planning to have their annual art show sometime after Easter, and as many of you know, this is a very well attended event. They have graciously given us the opportunity to hold a basket raffle, with the proceeds going toward the cost of our new heating system. We are willing to plan and create these baskets as we have done in the past, but we will definitely need the help of our congregation. There will soon be sign-up sheets in the narthex with suggested items for these baskets, and we invite you to sign up to donate one or more items. We will also accept cash donations from those who prefer not to shop. No amount is too small as we are bargain hunters! Place your check in the offering plate marked “Art Show Baskets” on the memo line. Please have your monetary donations in by Sunday, March 28, in order to give us time to shop and assemble the baskets. You may also contact one of us if you have items that are not on the list but could fit into one of the basket themes. The proposed themes are: Italian/wine basket, gardening basket, men’s basket, laundry/cleaning supplies basket, family fun basket, children’s kitchen basket, and gift card/lottery ticket basket. We already have a children’s basket ready to go. This is an opportunity for everyone in the congregation to be involved in this fundraiser and help to contribute to the cost of our heating system. PASTA DINNER TO-GO: We will hold a Pasta Dinner To-Go on Saturday, April 10, from 4:00 to 6:30 pm. The cost is $8.00. Proceeds will go to the Boiler Project. ST. PAUL YOUTH UPDATE FROM STACEY ALTIERE
Now – April 4
Ladies, the Masked Disciples need your old purses! You know, the ones that are buried in the back of your closet but still in good condition? Those purses! The Masked Disciples will be filling your gently used purses (please no small clutches or oversized bags/totes) with toiletries and hygiene products for distribution at local shelters, outreach programs, and ministries for women. Please place your donations on the table in the hallway marked “Purse Project”.
Now – April 4
The children have already kicked off the “Noisy Change” collection for the ELCA World Hunger Project. Glass mason jars and coffee tins have been placed in the hallway to collect your loose change to donate to underdeveloped countries to purchase livestock, medicine, etc. This campaign will run during Lent, so please dump out those purses and look in the couch cushions to help those in need.
Lenten Offering Boxes
Now – April 4
The youth of all ages have also received their Lenten Offering Boxes to collect on their own to donate to our Helping Hands Ministry at St. Paul. They have been instructed to look around the house and fill them up before Easter as their gift to the church. Please take one from the table located in the narthex if your child did not receive one.
