FOOD OUTREACH:  Delivery of hot meals continued on March 19.  We also delivered boxes of shelf-stable foods to several families in need.  We are thankful for the response from you.  Our hope is to maintain the servant project, once a month, through the year, recognizing an essential need in the community and to keep communication with some of our members, too.  The following suggested items are always appreciated:  cereal, soup, pasta, canned meats (such as tuna, salmon, turkey, chicken), boxed potatoes, gravy, and peanut butter.  The next scheduled delivery date is April 23.  Monetary donations can be made to the church with FOOD OUTREACH on the memo line.  Questions or suggestions, please contact Bonnie Thompson at 330-272-1400, Debbie Illencik at 234-308-1626 or Grace Shiau at 330-720-4579.

Youth Group

There will be NO Youth Group tonight in observance of Easter Sunday.  Our next gathering will be on Sunday, April 18.  Weather permitting, we will be visiting our community garden plot to strategize for spring in lieu of meeting at the church.  More details will be sent to the families as the date approaches.

Community Garden

It is almost time to start getting our hands dirty!  I recently learned the property we have been given is fenced in and has a small stage (yes, my wheels are already grinding).  This creates additional opportunities for volunteers to paint, etc.  Please contact Debbie Groves or Stacey Altiere if you would like to sign up for this spring.

So many things to be grateful for…

My deepest gratitude to the congregation, our families, and friends for supporting the Easter Project, Purse Project, Noisy Change, and Lenten Offering Boxes.  Not many church families are able to juggle and support multiple projects at the same time and we just did FOUR in March!  Grand totals and pictures will be posted in the coming weeks.
