ST. PAUL NEWS & EVENTS
COMMUNION SERVICES: We will celebrate Holy Communion every Sunday.
AN UPDATE FROM THE CALL COMMITTEE: The Call Committee will be sending out a member assessment questionnaire from HOLY COW, our partner in the search for our new pastor, in the coming weeks. It is very important that these be returned with your answers to the church office as soon as possible upon your receiving them. These questionnaires and your answers will be used to help us understand what YOU want or are looking for in a pastor to lead us and direct our ministry at St. Paul for the next ten or twenty years as we grow and spread the Gospel in the Warren community. The Call Committee is ready to assist you and answer any questions with this survey. It is very important that ALL of the members of St. Paul have their voices and thoughts heard. So please be involved. We need YOU. With God and your help, this can be done. Thanks for your help, Rick Thompson, Call Committee Chairperson
CELEBRATE GRAND-FAMILIES: “Celebrate Grand-families” is a support group for grandparents raising their grandchildren. St. Paul is reaching out to support these families with Christian compassion and a place to meet and discuss their needs. While the grandparents meet, we will have crafts, games, bible stories, snacks, help with homework, tutoring, and a fun social time for children. Sessions in June will be on Saturday, June 12 and 26, from 10:30 am to 12:00 pm. Please contact Liz Chapin at 330-394-7308 to help.
FOOD OUTREACH: Delivery of hot meals continues June 18. We will deliver boxes of shelf-stable foods to several families in need. Marty Maurice will make at-home communion available for members at that time. We are thankful for the response from you. Our hope is to maintain the servant project, once a month, through the year, recognizing an essential need in the community and to keep communication with some of our members, too. The following suggested items are always appreciated: cereal, peanut butter, jelly, canned veggies, soup, pasta, canned meats (tuna salmon, turkey, chicken), boxed potatoes, and gravy. Monetary donations can be made to the church with FOOD OUTREACH on the memo line. Questions or suggestions, please contact Bonnie Thompson at 330-272-1400, Debbie Illencik at 234-308-1626 or Grace Shiau at 330-720-4579.
STRAWBERRY SOCIAL: The Strawberry Social will be held on Saturday, June 19, from 4:00 to 6:30 pm. We will need a lot of help. Sign-up sheets are in the narthex. Thank you, Lorri Baudo
LET’S TRY THIS AGAIN – RUMMAGE SALE: We are planning to have another Rummage Sale to be held on Saturday, August 7, with the proceeds going to the church’s general fund. Please begin to save your unwanted but useable items but DO NOT bring them to the church until further notice. This includes clothing, books, small appliances, tools, and household goods. As in the past, we will need lots of help with set up, pricing, and working at the sale. Thank you in advance for your donations and for any help that you are able to give. Please see Brenda Ceplecci (330-534-2388) or Bonnie Thompson (330-272-1400) with any questions.
FROM THE CUSTODIAN: You can now leave a note for Tim Martin if you see something at St. Paul that needs fixed, replaced, or needs attention. Outside of the custodian’s room there is a wall file with paper and a pen to write a message and leave it in the wall file. These notes will help Tim identify, prioritize, and just plain remember what needs to be done. If you have any questions, leave Tim a note.

ST. PAUL YOUTH UPDATE FROM STACEY ALTIERE
Sunday School Teachers Needed
With restrictions lifting and a sense of normalcy returning, please consider teaching a Sunday School Class! Listening to the children and how they interpret the lessons is truly fulfilling. We must continue to grow our youth and deepen their faith. We must continue to support these young families and I know we have some extraordinary teachers in our congregation! Please contact Stacey Altiere if you would like to participate in the fall when Sunday School resumes. Men and women of faith, we need your knowledge!
