ST. PAUL NEWS & EVENTS
FOOD OUTREACH: Delivery of 20 hot meals continued June 18. We delivered boxes of shelf-stable foods to several families in need. Marty Maurice made at-home communion available for members at that time. We are thankful for the response from you. Our hope is to maintain the servant project, once a month, through the year, recognizing an essential need in the community and to keep communication with some of our members, too. The following suggested items are always appreciated: cereal, peanut butter, jelly, canned veggies, soup, pasta and sauce, and canned meats such as tuna, salmon, turkey, and chicken. Delivery for July will be on July 23. Monetary donations can be made to the church with FOOD OUTREACH on the memo line. Questions or suggestions, please contact Bonnie, Debbie, or Grace.
CELEBRATE GRAND-FAMILIES: “Celebrate Grand-families” is a support group for grandparents raising their grandchildren. St. Paul is reaching out to support these families with Christian compassion and a place to meet and discuss their needs. While the grandparents meet, we will have crafts, games, bible stories, snacks, help with homework, tutoring, and a fun social time for children. Sessions in July will be on Saturday, July 24, from 10:30 am to 12:00 pm. Please contact Liz to help.
RUMMAGE SALE UPDATE: Plans are underway to hold a Rummage Sale on Saturday, August 7, with the proceeds to go toward the church’s general fund. Many members have been spring cleaning and setting aside unwanted items – clothing, shoes, toys, books, linens, household goods, small furniture, and other miscellaneous items. You may start to bring these items to the church after July 1 between 11:30 am and 2:30 pm Monday through Friday or on Sunday mornings. These items should be taken to the choir room. If you have any questions or need help bringing items to the church, please contact Bonnie or Brenda.
HOME COMMUNION: Home communion packages will be available in the church office Monday through Friday 11:30 am to 2:30 pm. The bread and wine were blessed during Sunday service. Please call Lynn at 330-394-5741 to make arrangements for pickup. Marty is available for home delivery and is also able to serve communion if requested.

Vacation Bible School this year for our little ones age 5-10 will be held at the Trumbull Art Gallery in Warren July 19 to 23 from 5:30 pm to 7:00 pm. Families with children age 3-4 please see me for further instructions (they are welcome to participate). The artists at the gallery will be leading our little ones in their crafts and exposing them to the wonderful world of art!
Night at the Gallery
July 23, 6:00 – 7:00 pm
Trumbull Art Gallery (on Courthouse Square)
158 N. Park Ave., Warren, OH 44481
The congregation is invited to attend our “Night at the Gallery” on Friday, July 23. All artwork created by our children during their Vacation Bible School at the Trumbull Art Gallery will be on display for our church family to view. Please plan on attending this special night for the children. Additional parking will be available behind the gallery for those of us that prefer not to parallel park on the square.
We are excited to announce that the nursery will be back up and running next Sunday, July 25, thanks to our volunteers! Nursery will be held during service, with the children returning to the sanctuary before Holy Communion to receive their blessing with their family. We need a few more volunteers to commit to the nursery rotation. Can you spare 45 minutes once every 6 weeks to help our church family? If yes, please see Liz to sign up.
