THANK YOU: We had another successful Strawberry Social this year! This would not have been possible without all of you. A big thank you to everyone who helped in any way—donating money or food, helping to prepare strawberries, or helping on the event day. Thanks also to the Thrivent Action Team for sponsoring us. We made a profit of $1,120.00 to add to the church’s general fund. St. Paul workers are the best! Thanks again, Diana and Lorri
AN UPDATE FROM THE CALL COMMITTEE: The Call Committee has sent out a member assessment questionnaire from HOLY COW, our partner in the search for our new pastor. It is very important that these be returned with your answers to the church office by July 9. These questionnaires and your answers will be used to help us understand what YOU want or are looking for in a pastor to lead us and direct our ministry at St. Paul for the next ten or twenty years as we grow and spread the Gospel in the Warren community. The Call Committee is ready to assist you and answer any questions with this survey. It is very important that ALL of the members of St. Paul have their voices and thoughts heard. So please be involved. We need YOU. With God and your help, this can be done. Thanks for your help,

BLOOD DRIVE: Red Cross is welcoming back volunteers at St. Paul beginning with the Saturday, July 10, blood drawing. Vaccinated volunteers will register donors (no experience needed), serve snacks, and have a chance to visit with everyone. If you are interested in helping the community and welcoming others to the church facility, add your name to the sign-up sheet in the hall. The next opportunity to volunteer for Red Cross will be in September. Times and dates will be listed on the sign-up sheet. If you have any questions, please call Bonnie
CELEBRATE GRAND-FAMILIES: “Celebrate Grand-families” is a support group for grandparents raising their grandchildren. St. Paul is reaching out to support these families with Christian compassion and a place to meet and discuss their needs. While the grandparents meet, we will have crafts, games, bible stories, snacks, help with homework, tutoring, and a fun social time for children. Sessions in July will be on Saturday, July 10 and 24, from 10:30 am to 12:00 pm. Please contact Liz to help.
FOOD OUTREACH: Delivery of 20 hot meals continued June 18. We delivered boxes of shelf-stable foods to several families in need. Marty made at-home communion available for members at that time. We are thankful for the response from you. Our hope is to maintain the servant project, once a month, through the year, recognizing an essential need in the community and to keep communication with some of our members, too. The following suggested items are always appreciated: cereal, peanut butter, jelly, canned veggies, soup, pasta and sauce, and canned meats such as tuna, salmon, turkey, and chicken. Delivery for July will be on July 23. Monetary donations can be made to the church with FOOD OUTREACH on the memo line. Questions or suggestions, please contact Bonnie, Debbie, or Grace.
RUMMAGE SALE UPDATE: Plans are underway to hold a Rummage Sale on Saturday, August 7, with the proceeds to go toward the church’s general fund. Many members have been spring cleaning and setting aside unwanted items – clothing, shoes, toys, books, linens, household goods, small furniture, and other miscellaneous items. You may start to bring these items to the church AFTER JULY 1 between 11:30 am and 2:30 pm Monday through Friday or on Sunday mornings. These items should be taken to the choir room. If you have any questions or need help bringing items to the church, please contact Bonnie or Brenda.
